The imaging principle is to charge the photosensitive drum in the dark to charge it evenly, and then project the image to the photoconductor on the surface of the rotating photosensitive drum by laser scanning. The photoconductor is partially resisted by the light. Drop, the charge is lost through the photoconductor, while the unilluminated part still retains the charged charge. In this way, it is believed that it leaves the same charged image on the surface of the photosensitive drum as the original image, which is what the printing house calls the "latent electrostatic image", and the photosensitive drum with the electrostatic latent image is brought into contact with charged ink or toner (symbol Contrary to electrostatic latent image), the latent image can be visualized (developed) by the Coulomb force between charged toner and electrostatic latent image, that is, the exposed part of the photosensitive drum absorbs toner to form an image, and then the toner The image is transferred to the substrate.

Finally, the toner transferred to the substrate is heated and fixed, so that the resin in the toner is melted and firmly adhered to the paper surface, and a printed matter with the original image can be obtained, and the electrostatic printing process is completed. .
